Mythical Harley Davidson Cafe............?

Can anyone tell me if this exists in NY please and if so where is it?

I%26#39;ve seen some posts which seem to admit to it%26#39;s existance and others that don%26#39;t mention??

TIA

Mythical Harley Davidson Cafe............?

I%26#39;m sure I%26#39;ve seen this place on 6th Ave and around 55th/56th street

Mythical Harley Davidson Cafe............?

It closed a few years ago.

Thanks Bettina - had a feeling it wasn%26#39;t there :-(

Bummer!

Any other biker/themed bars you can think of?? :-)

Sorry. There%26#39;s a Harley shop on Lexington between 56th-57th Sts.

The most famous biker bar in Manhattan is Hogs and Heifers in the Meatpacking District., but it is very touristy now. It%26#39;s been there since there was actual meat being bought and sold in that neighborhood (and I do mean ';meat being bought and sold'; in all meanings.)

Don%26#39;t go on a weekend - apparently, that%26#39;s when ';posers'; and ';wannabes'; show up. However, I still see a couple of people who look mighty ';authentic'; any night I walk by there.

I Googled ';biker bars NYC';, and found this website (you need to scroll down for New York City)

Biker Comments: ';H%26amp;H was great at one time before all the Yuppies discovered it. Now its just a huge ATM machine making lots and lots of cash.'; Johnny

';Let me tell you, if this place were a joke, it wouldn%26#39;t be funny. They compare themselves to Boothill in Daytona. GIVE ME A BRAKE! It is a one room cramped joint with two flat chested, foul mouth women working behind the bar. They seemed to only like other women and would have been perfectly happy if there were no men in the bar. The icing on the cake, not a damn biker in there. We sat there for an hour before 3 actual bikers walked in. They were from Florida too. See, I really didn%26#39;t have to leave home. Please, don%26#39;t bother going there. It is a RAT HOLE! I later found out there were some actual biker bars in NYC.'; Robin

Biker Comments: ';A great bar that has been over-run by yuppy%26#39;s, but still remembers it%26#39;s roots. Colors are still welcomed, and bikes are watched over. When the bar reaches capacity, the door guys show cuteousy to bikers, especially those with colors, and usher them to the front of the line and in the place. It is great too have a bar that puts the bikers first and the yuppies second. Hogs and Heffers....You could, and should take a lesson from this place!'; Hillbilly

Biker Comments: ';Just off 9th Ave. Great hole-in-the-wall, has a back room for live music. Big on blues there. Also, great juke box!'; Louise

We are avid riders and though it%26#39;s been a few years since we%26#39;ve been to NYC we had a blast at Red Rock West. At that time it reminded me a lot of what we%26#39;ve experienced in Sturgis. Not a Froggys (did I spell that right?) or a Boothill in Daytona, but still a fun biker-ish type bar.
