Spectator Sports in November

Husband and I will be visiting NY from 1st to 18th of November 06

Are there any sports on around that time we could go to ( other than American Football which he doesn%26#39;t like)

Personally I%26#39;d love to see baseball but I%26#39;m guessing it%26#39;s not the right season?

Thanks

Spectator Sports in November

Hockey - NY Rangers - 11/5, 14

Basketball NY Knicks - 11/4, 6, 13 and 15

All games played at Madison Square Garden

Baseball season ends in October.

Hi,

Found these links at broadwaybox.com, it%26#39;s a discount tickets site for the NYC teams:

ticketsboxusa.com/ResultsGeneral.aspx鈥?/a> - Rangers

ticketsboxusa.com/ResultsGeneral.aspx鈥?/a> - Knicks

Play ball (or puck...)!

There are also the New Jersey Devils (Hockey) and New Jersey Nets (basketball) that play in the Meadowlands in New Jersey which is easily accessible by public transportation. Baseball actually isn%26#39;t over, the World Series may still be going on, but good luck getting tickets is either the Mets or Yankees (or possibly both) are playing in it.

Thanks all !!

We booked to see Rangers V Devils and Knicks V Wizards at MSG

Very excited, I%26#39;ve never been to either sport before, it will be such a treat to go in NY!

Its also the New York Marathon on Sun 5th Nov as i recently disovered

I discovered the same after I had booked the flights for our trip. We%26#39;re actually getting out of NY that weekend and visiting friends in Boston.

I have heard though that the marathon is great to watch and it%26#39;s free!

Watching the marathon is fantastic, especially when doing so in Central Park.

I find the city very alive that weekend, athletes from all over the world walking around with their respective jerseys, it is great.

And if it hasn%26#39;t sunk in yet that they are playing at the same place, realize that the ICE is underneath that wooden floor where they are playing basketball, I always thought that was pretty cool (no pun intended).

Wow I hadn%26#39;t even thought of that.

It%26#39;s going to be wonderful to see the place - the game%26#39;s a bonus!

I%26#39;ve seen the episode of Seinfeld where Elaines boyfriend Putty goes to the ice hockey to support the devils; so funny!

How far ahead to %26#39;kick off%26#39; should we arrive? I assume there are bars and are we allowed to bring drinks to our seats?
