Family accommodation in New York City?

Hello from Australia! We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers 16 and 14) looking for convenient accommodation in NYC. So far we have found The Larchmont and Chelsea Lodge but I am worried they might be a little too small for a family....but the price seems good and we can cope if it really is suitable. There is also The Milburn Hotel but it seems a little pricey. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. We are staying there at the end of January for 3 nights only. Thanks in advance!

Hello Australia (I%26#39;m coming down there at xmas for the 4th and 5th tests)

We have just booked in the Radio City Appartments (http://www.radiocityapartments.com/index.cfm)

They do 2 bedroom suites with an extra roll out bed in the ';living'; room, the location is great and the price is a bargain

Both the Larchmont and Chelsea Lodge have shared bathrooms. Did you know that?

Halifax has given you great advice to try Radio City Apartments.

They very centrally located (right near Rockefeller Center) and are in fact set up like apts. with small kitchens--good for snacks, breakfast etc.

You should be able to get a 1 bedroom suite there for $155 plus tax or a 2 bedroom for around $250 plus tax.

The Salisbury is another really good option in midtown close to Central Park that also has suites (and regular rooms).
