Family accommodation in New York City?

Hello from Australia! We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers 16 and 14) looking for convenient accommodation in NYC. So far we have found The Larchmont and Chelsea Lodge but I am worried they might be a little too small for a family....but the price seems good and we can cope if it really is suitable. There is also The Milburn Hotel but it seems a little pricey. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. We are staying there at the end of January for 3 nights only. Thanks in advance!

Family accommodation in New York City?

We stayed at the Blakely hotel in March in a one bedroom suite, which had two double beds in one room and a sofa/daybed in the other. It was very spacious, 525 sq ft with very small kitchen nook and a beautiful large marble bath. There were also flat screen tvs and dvd players in both rooms. The price would probably be okay in January. The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to Central Park and Times Sq. A subway station on the corner as well.

Hope this helps.

Have you thought about Radio City Apartments? Weve booked a one room apartment in April, but I believe they also have two bed rooms that would suit your family.Check out the reviews,it sounds great!!

Was just about to suggest Radio City Apartments too Annie :o)

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your help. I checked out the Radio City Apartments. There is a big difference in price between the 1brm and 2 brm(nearly $US100 a night). I think we would go with just the 1 brm. I will also check out the Blakely and see how it compares.

Thanks again from Kim and family!
