Going to NY for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon, we can book shuttle transfers through our travel company however they will be dropping other people off at other hotels also.

Was thinking if it wasnt too expensive we would get a taxi direct from the airport to our hotel so we can make the most of our trip.

Anyone know how much they are?

$45 flat fare. With tolls and tip it%26#39;ll be around $60. There%26#39;s a taxi rank just outside arrivals with a despatcher, ignore anyone who approaches you offering a ride.

It is a flat fare - the current rate is $45 plus tolls and tip.

Do NOT book a shuttle. If you don%26#39;t want to spend the $60 for a taxi, take an Airport Express bus for $15/person (or $27 roundtrip) and get out at Port Authority bus terminal. Your hotel is literally across the street from the bus terminal. You won%26#39;t waste time dropping others off but they may well stop at Grand Central (and maybe Bryant Park) first before getting to Port Authority. Lots of good luck! When is the wedding?
