It%26#39;s just on the news that a helicopter (they believe) has crashed into a building on E72nd St. Jeez.

all the emergency cars are trying to get up 3rd ave right now - my office window is on 3rd so I can see them - it is a mass of sirens right now. The reports I%26#39;m seeing are mixed on whether it is a smallplane or helicpoter.

Fow news and Sky news reported earlier that it was a small plane but Sky are saying it was a helicopter. Hope everyone gets out safe.

It was a small plane on 72 Street and York Avenue about 20 floors up and there is fire--an apartment building

FD is saying it was a helicopter.

It appears to be at about the 40th floor or so.

Building is the Belaire, on East 72nd between York and First.
