Has anyone here been to Maddame T's Wax Museum?

I know that the museum is expensive and I have read mixed reviews, but I have never been to a wax museum before and I will never get to the one in London.

My friend and me have this on our list for the 2nd thing to do Saturday morning (After going to The Top of The Rock) since we figured that it would be best to go as soon as they open up to try to avoid lines.

Those of you who have been there, is it worth seeing and how much time would you allow for it?

Thanks again!

Honestly, I can think if better ways to spend your money. But if you must, then go and enjoy it.

My wife and I went. I%26#39;d say it was money better spent then the ESB. We enjoy when people look through our pictures seeing us posed next to the likes of Oprah, Robin Williams, Brad Pitt etc.

One tip...try to get the best shot you can without flash. Most of mine turned out great but you can see a bit of shine on the figures from my flash which makes them less life like.

Even go by to get your picture with Brad outside of the museum.

I have been four times over the past few years. Whenever I am with someone new in the city I make sure to take them there. Everyone always likes it. The picture of my daughter and her friend with Ozzy Osbourne and his wife look so real, it%26#39;s unbelievable. She also belted out a tune for Simon Cowell, he told her she stinks!!

It%26#39;s just a fun thing to do. I wouldn%26#39;t pass it up.

It%26#39;s hard to say how much time to allow because it also depends how long you wait in line. The lines do move fast though. I want to say two-two 1/2 hours the most! But I really can%26#39;t remember. Sorry.

We just got back from NYC. Our hotel was practically next door to the wax museum. Brad isn%26#39;t out front anymore--as of Saturday it%26#39;s Samuel L. Jackson. He was so realistic that you can%26#39;t help but do a double take!

Redblack, if you log on to Broadwaybox.com there is a voucher for $8 dollars off per adult, as my husband and I are going in Nov to New York and we were thinking of going there aswell

It%26#39;s good for one or two visits, but the expense and relative lack of new figures over time keep my kids and I from going back.

As a one-shot, it is worth it--there are discount tickets almost everywhere that usally take at least $6 off.

I just want to say thank you to everyone! What would I do without everyone%26#39;s help on Trip Advisor? Thanks you all for taking the time to help me out! : )

Hey everyone. I tried to get the discount for the museum via Broadwaybox.com and I couldn%26#39;t find it. I also tried another site that mentioned $8.00 of an admission but when I clicked on it, I couldn%26#39;t get it to do anything, (I even allowed pop-ups on the site.) Any suggestions? Thanks again everyone!

I had a similar experience to SueFee - my boyfriend and I had checked into the Hilton Times Square, and as we left the hotel to go exploring I spotted my first celebrity sighting - I grabbed bf%26#39;s arm to make him stop walking and said ';OMG, that%26#39;s Samuel Jackson over there!!';...after about 10 seconds I noticed that SJ wasn%26#39;t moving and realized it was a wax statue! DUH!

We never made it into the museum, but it%26#39;s probably worth it, especially with the discount.

When you log on Broadwaybox.com down on the right hand side there is a heading NY event discounts, and Madame Tussands is in this list and I believe that you just print out the page as it has the discount code on the offer
