Good breakfast near W 31st Street??

Can anyone advise where does good breakfasts around this area? I think there is a Barking Dog not too far from here - what are thoughts on this?

Barking Dog is the restaurant in the Affina Dumont hotel on E. 34th Street near 3rd Avenue.

You say W.31 St, so depends where you are on W. 31 St.

There are lots of places between 28th %26amp; 37th Street on 3rd Avenue, but that is the east side.

if your nr the empire state building walk down towards 28th street and there is alovely cafe called of course.. CAFE 28 and its open 24hours a day, lovely breakfast to be had in there, and they do bagels, smoothies,soups,hot/cold buffet well worth a visit when your so near to there.. and if u do- its just a little further down than the church with all the yellow/purple ribbons tied to the outside rails.. i had a hot breakfast. egg,bacon,potato waffle,toast and juice and btl water for $7.50 bargain! :o)

The Barking Dog is at the end of my street and I go there all the time. But, then again, it%26#39;s probably too far for you to come for breakfast!!! lol

Thanks for tips. We are staying in Herald Square hotel, which is 19 W 31st Street Also, any ideas for good steak houses?

By the way, you can also pick up snacks inside Macy*s in ';the Cellar';, the lower level with all the kitchen stuff.
