I understand from this forum that you recently went to London (not sure if it was your first visit or not), anyway I lived in London for 26 years and i%26#39;m coming to New York for the firsrt time in a couple of weeks. I%26#39;d just like to know if you had the time how do you like London and how do you compare it to New York?

Hi Tinkerl..... I%26#39;ve been going regularly to London for many years. This was just a quick couple of days accompanying a friend who bought a two-for-one ticket on Eos, so I got a free ride!
I finished doing the tourist things in London back in the seventies, so now when I%26#39;m there I visit with friends and always go to the theater. Last trip was December, and I saw five shows in four days; this time I only had time to see two shows.
I don%26#39;t know that it%26#39;s fair to compare cities. London always seems bigger than NY, but easy to navigate by tube. You%26#39;re going to find it incredibly easy to get around most of Manhattan because of our grid system. London is like a maze of tiny streets, I%26#39;d be totally lost without my handy A-to-Z.
