Just got the following in my mail box. Yipee! Can buy booze from duty free on my way home again! And you usually get extra World Points for doing so too!
Dear BAA WorldPoints member
There have been some further changes to hand baggage restrictions if you are travelling to the USA from the UK.
All passengers flying to the USA, with the exception of those
travelling with Northwest Airlines, can now bring all items purchased after security on board their flight - this includes all liquids such as water, perfumes, wines and spirits.
And of course, don%26#39;t forget to take your WorldPoints card with you to
collect points on all your airport shopping.

Enjoy every drop MMM!
Karen could you and Louise take liquids with you when you returned from NYC?
MMM i to am intrested in Karen %26amp; Lou%26#39;s response, as there still seems a lot of confusion of this matter.
Yeah - Nets, I do hope someone responds on the reverse ... I think things are still pretty sticky going out of the US - but since at JFK they deliver things to the plane, it may be okay. Just would like to hear from someone who has actually done it!
Ta. MMM!
I could have bought liquids after security and had them delivered to the plane .The problem I had was that I was then going to board an internal flight where they wouldn%26#39;t allow the stuff through security! If you%26#39;re getting off at London and staying there, it%26#39;s fine.
Thanks Karen - that clears that up!
That may change now too, if they%26#39;re letting stuff purchased at the UK airport onto planes leaving the UK - perhaps they%26#39;ll let stuff purchaed at other airports (if they are so marked or something) through as well.
Or I guess you could have found a comfy seat in the lounge and drank it all before boarding your next flight.
(Tee Hee!!!!) Can just picture you both sipping with straws in a bottle!
