Dress Code for Broadway
Just out of curiosity, what are you seeing?
This is an extremely popular question here. Have you tried searching the forum for ';theater dress code';?

More importantly, when attending the theatre, show up on time, turn off cell phones, don%26#39;t talk during the show, don%26#39;t kick the seat of the person in front of you, and don%26#39;t unwrap noisy wrappers.
';Jeans'; is a buzzword here because ';jeans'; can be anything from work pants to a ';mommy uniform'; to a sack falllin%26#39; off your butt to sleek $700 custom-made beauties.
Sometimes people on this forum will bristle if we believe that visitors are REALLY asking ';how dressed-down can I get away with if I don%26#39;t want to bother thinking about it or don%26#39;t want to pack any extra stuff?'; Queries like this often get interpreted as tests of the limits of under-dressing, rather than questions about fashion or style.
p.s. imho, I don%26#39;t like jeans at a B%26#39;way show, but I%26#39;m in the minority, and many people wear them. If you%26#39;re already paying the big bucks for a show, try leaving your average, daily jeans at home and see how it feels.
