Is there any intimate, romantic restaurants (small and cozy) with a fireplace??? (going in december)

I just typed in my browser ';New York restaurants with fireplaces'; and got lots of hits - this was one. I%26#39;ve also recently looked at Strada 57 on line, not sure it is a ';working'; fireplace but they show one in their pictures.

There are quite a few places with fireplaces. Sometimes the fireplace is in the bar area though, rather than the dining room.

Many restaurants in townhouses have fireplaces. Vivolo on the upper east side is one such place. Low key Italian. The Place in the village is another. Vince %26amp; Eddie%26#39;s near Lincoln Center is small and cozy. Chelsea Bistro in guess where (Chelsea ;)

The Landmark Tavern is a historic place west of the Times Square area. It was never known for great food, but I hear they have new owners/chef and is worth a visit.

March (in a townhouse) and One of By Land... are 2 well known ';romantic'; restaurants with fireplaces.
