I%26#39;ve been planning for months, and now my surprise trip for my husband for his fortieth birthday is just one week away!! I am so excited and he is still in the dark about anything!
I haven%26#39;t posted a lot, but have gotten a wealth of information from this site.
Thank you all so much!
I will post our trip report when we return.
Thank you everyone
Have a wonderful trip, and I look forward to hearing about your NYC adventures.
Thank you everyone
Have reviewed your previous posts. Are there any questions remaining? Is your plan in place? If not, tell us what you need help with. Have a fabulous time!
Have a great time! I can%26#39;t wait to read your report. I also have a surprise birthday trip planned for my husband in just three weeks. Are you going to tell him before you leave where you are going? Mine is still in the dark also. :o)
We leave very early on the morning of his birthday. If all goes well, he will know nothing until then!
I plan on waking him up, and then quickly packing for him while he%26#39;s in the shower!
I don%26#39;t plan on telling him where we are going until we get to the airport!
I think everything is planned out. We%26#39;ve seen the ';major'; sights before, so this time I%26#39;ve kept some afternoons open to hopefully just explore neighborhoods. I also have planned: Spamalot, TOTR, bicycling in Central Park (if the weather cooperates), Greenwich Village food tour, walking the Brooklyn Bridge (I think that was one of my favorites from last trip!)
Can%26#39;t wait to get there!
I can%26#39;t resist commenting that men are such simple creatures! I can%26#39;t imagine someone packing for a woman while she%26#39;s in the shower.
Have a great time!
Wow, you are really keeping him in the dark! That%26#39;s great. Mine just knows we are going ';somewhere';. I hope you have a great time!
Bettina, you are sooooooo right! :o)
A man packing for a woman!!!! A no go area. The thought makes me shudder.
I love the idea of you packing while he is in the shower!!! That is great!
A few years ago I surprised my husband with a surprise trip to Atlantic City, NJ (casinos and gambling). I didn%26#39;t tell him where we were going. I blindfolded him and made him stay that way for the entire 2 hour road trip. When we got there, I whipped off the blindfold and he couldn%26#39;;t see for about a half hour because the lights were too bright after being ';in the dark'; for 2 hours! So my tip to you is... don%26#39;t blindfold him!!
Have a great time!
B--';men are such simple creatures'; Ha! kamo--have a safe trip and a great vacation in NYC.
Have a wonderful time. Hope he is genuinely surprised.
