Hi
Thanks to everyone who has helped with my previous posts. I have now pulled together a suggested Itinerary and any comments appreciated. The activities each day are in no particular order.
Thurs 16th Nov
Arrive at hotel approx 4.30pm (doubletree times square)
TOTR, dinner and an early night
Fri 17th Nov
Ground zero, wall street, century 21 and staten island ferry past SOL.
Sat 18th Nov
Grand Central Terminal, ESB, Chrysler and UN bulidings, Macy%26#39;s.
Sun 19th Nov
Central Park, The Met, Apple Store
Mon 20th Nov
SoHo, Chinatown, Brooklyn bridge
Tues 21st Nov
Last minute shopping, leave NY approx 3pm
Does this seem feasible?
Thanks
Suggested Itinerary
Yes. Get a good map and plot out your stops to see what the best order is for each day, Sat. in particular. Macy%26#39;s is near ESB but maybe you want to save shopping til end of the day so you don%26#39;t walk around with bags? Macy%26#39;s late on a Sat. may be very chaotic. I would go to both Macy%26#39;s and Century 21 first thing in the morning. ;)
Suggested Itinerary
Very reasonable. You might put Brooklyn Bridge on Friday, since you%26#39;ll be close to it.
If you do that, on Monday, go from Chinatown to Soho, to Greenwich Village, to perhaps Chelsea.
Thanks for the advice
Also a bit unsure what to do in the evnings, as I am visiting with my parents unlikely that there will be any night clubbing or heavy drinking!!
Would like to see a show (undecided as yet) and possibly some comedy (any ideas where?). Any other suggestions welcomed.
Thanks
How about a piano bar or cabaret show?
For example, check out Don%26#39;t Tell Mama:

Comedy can be a fun option. Check out Gotham, Caroline%26#39;s, Dangerfield%26#39;s, Stand Up NY, or Comedy Cellar.
How about a show? Get day-of discount tickets at the TKTS booth.
