Time square question? pls help!

HI.. I WILL BE IN NY IN NOVEMBER... I WANT TO KNOW IF THE SUBWAY STACION IN TIMES SQUARE HAVE LOCKERS TO KEEP LUGGAGE FOR A FEW HOURS.. I WILL BE ATTENDING TO A SHOW IN TIMES SQUARE AND I PLANNING TO G TO THE AIRPORT (lLGA) RIGHT AFER THE SHOW IS OVER.. SO I CAN TAKE MY BAGS AND TAKE A CAB TO THE AIRPORT... ANY HELP WILL BE VERY MUCH APRECIATE!!

hi i will be in NY in NOV ... i want to know if the subway stacion in times square have lockers to keep luggage for a few hours .. i will be attendinf to a show is times squeare and i planning to go to the airport (LGA) after the show is over, so i can take my bags and tkae a cab and go to the airport i don;t have to much time to come back to my hotel wich is 20 min away from times square... so any help will be GREAT!!!

No lockers. What theater are you going to ? They may take your bag at the coat check. Or you might be able to tip a doorman at a nearby hotel to hold your bag.

There are no lockers in subway stations, nor have there ever been lockers there.

Years ago there were lockers in the Port Authority Bus Terminal a block away, but after a terrorist group blew up a bomb in a locker at LaGuardia Airportmore than thirty years ago, all lockers were removed from such locations. There are now no public lockers anywhere at transportation facilities in NYC.

ok great is an mtv peformance ... inside the studios in times squeare.. but i don%26#39;t think they will hold my bags in the studio.. somebody told me the NYPD have some lockers or so.. to keep the bags for few a hours is that true?

Lockers for temp public use basically disappeared after Sept. 11, 2001.

FYI, there were never any lockers in your average NYC subways station.

Your best bet is to call MTV or ask the MTV store next to the studio. But, nowdays, most people may be nervous holding luggage for an unknown person. You may just have to cab it back to the hotel before going to the airport.
