Extended Shopping for the Holidays?

A big portion of our trip to NYC is dedicated to shopping, Orlando tries hard, but there%26#39;s a serious lack of certain labels in our Sunny State.

It seems that many of the shops are open 11-7ish, do these hours typcially extend during the hoiday season? Not so much am I worried about Macys (Good heavens, no plans to set foot in that store) but more along the lines of the smaller boutiques.

Any thoughts?

Usually the smaller boutiques will only extend their hours by an hour if at all. It%26#39;s the larger department stores that will be open rather late.

But....this includes Saks, Barney%26#39;s and Bergdorfs which will more or less cover most designers, and will all be open rather late.
