I am looking at renting an apartment through Cyberrentals in New York for a weekend in Dec. Any comments on the apartments or the website?
Thanks
Mary
cyberrentals.com Have anyone used them and how did you findI know people who have used the website. Which apt. are you considering?
cyberrentals.com Have anyone used them and how did you findI%26#39;ve had very good experiences with cyberrentals. Just remember, it%26#39;s merely a listings service, akin to a newspaper%26#39;s classified section: since they don%26#39;t own the apartments/homes they don%26#39;t ';stand behind'; the properties (altho%26#39; they will remove a listing if guests report bad experiences), and each owner sets his/her own deposit %26amp; reservation cancellation policies.
I also like vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owner).
The available apartment is as follows:
A Suite in downtown Manhattan 鈥?Property 125475
It doesn%26#39;t give me an exact address. Any comments?
Hi Mary,
I work at CyberRentals so I checked our records of that property for you. That property has been advertised on CyberRentals since July 25, 2005, so just about 15 months. In that time we have no records of complaints about the listing or property. So while that%26#39;s no guarantee, it is a good indication about the legitimacy of the property since we would have received complaints fairly quickly otherwise.
If you ever have questions about a property listed on the site, you can always email our customer support department at support@cyberrentals.com. Here is an FAQ that might be helpful as well:

Hope you have a great vacation and thanks for using the site.
